She's Always There To Help And Be A Friend

You can always count on COGWC Teen Madelyn Burns to be there and help out the church moms in any way she can! Here she is at our Good Friday service with Emery Kate Davidson, Abram Owens and Ashley Gay!  Madelyn loves the little kids and is always there to be a friend to them!!

John 15:1-8

 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

1 John 1:5 - 2:2

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

God came up with the answer long before the devil came up with the problem.

Lamentations 3:19-32

Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Colossians 3:12-17

As long as you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back, food on your table and those you love around you, you're blessed.  Be grateful.  Be thankful.

It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Snow Fun!

The recent snow storm isn't what anyone would define as "fun".  But, if there's snow, you might as well make the most of it!  Paul Chastain and some of his friends did just that!! 

There is one thing that God says to every believer, regardless of their circumstances - TRUST ME.
